Winkey Pratney and 6Mile

Yup, you heard it right. If you loved (or hated) Eminem in 8Mile then you’re gonna love Winkey’s Bad Rap in 6Mile. Keep praying for Winkey, he is getting better but still needs plenty of TLC prayer. Recently I have spent some time with young man from New Zealand. Over the last few days I’ve got to know this young man who is passionate, focused and looking to live his life for God. He certainly has been an inspiration in a short space of time. I know that he would be the first to admin that he doesn’t have it all together but what he has recognised in his own life is valuable. He has prepared his heart for growth and change. I think it is valuable thing when your greatest asset is your name. It speaks to integrity. 100% Pure New Zealand

Jesus did it best with his ability to weave spiritual truth into the lives of everyday people. Often we can be in the same country and not speak the ‘same language’. Its not about...

The Human Network

A lot of people feel that the global push for technology has isolated individuals. The fear is that we have become disconnected elements rather than a cohesive community. We need to reassess the status of our connection. Is it true that we stay at home with noses glowing from the luminosity of our LCD screens and fingers poised in gaming or chat attack positions at a keyboard cowering from abuse? Within our homes we become strangers as the child retreats to a fully equipped bedroom control centre and parents live apart in separate chat-rooms! The single individual now finds cyber conquests...
